Expansion pipe—connected to the top of the main water supply riser in the case of gravity circulation system; connected to the constant pressure point of the system in the case of mechanical circulation system, generally connected to the front of the pump inlet.
Circulation pipe—connected to the horizontal return water main pipe before the constant pressure point of the system, and a distance of 1.5~3m should be maintained between this point and the constant pressure point, so that a part of the hot water can slowly flow through the water tank through the expansion pipe and the circulation pipe , to freeze the water in the waterproof case.
Signal pipe (check pipe)—connected to the toilet or the slop basin of the toilet on the ground floor of the building, and can also be connected to the boiler room. Generally, it should be connected to a place where people can easily observe, so as to observe whether there is water in the expansion tank.
Overflow pipe - when the water expands so that the volume of water in the system exceeds the mouth of the overflow pipe, the water will overflow automatically and can generally be connected to a nearby sewer.
Drain pipe - for cleaning the water tank and emptying, it can be connected to the nearby sewer together with the overflow pipe.
