According to the principle and structure of muffler, automobile muffler can be divided into resistance muffler, resistance muffler and impedance compound muffler
1. Resistant muffler Resistant muffler is in the internal through pipes, partitions and other parts of the expansion chamber, resonance chamber and other anechoic units, sound waves in the propagation of reflection and interference, reduce sound energy to achieve the purpose of anechoic. The resistance muffler has a limited frequency band, and usually has a good effect on low and middle frequency muffler, but a poor effect on high frequency muffler.
2. Resistive muffler E is a muffler filled with sound absorbing material around the pipe through which the internal exhaust is passed to absorb sound energy to achieve the purpose of muffling. It has good muffler effect on middle and high frequency. It is seldom used as a car exhaust muffler, and it is usually combined with resistance muffler. -
3. Impedance compound muffler is composed of resistance muffler unit and sound absorbing material, which has the common characteristics of resistance and resistance muffler. Low, medium and high frequency noise has a good muffler effect.
